First Blog Post

 Hi, I'm Alex Temperley. I am 16 years old, and I have just started my level 3 course in Film & TV Production. This blog will document my journey to completing the course. I'm unsure which part of the course I am looking forward to the most, but I do know that I am both excited and scared about the idea of having to make my own films as part of the course. The skill I'd hope to work on the most is my ability to write a good screenplay, as it is something I'm struggling with currently. I also would like to become better at using the cameras, as they are a new piece of technology that confuse me at the moment.

 Just like everyone else in the room (I should hope), I am aiming for a distinction. The last film I watched was 'Coraline (2009)', as I recently wrote a review of it as part of a homework task. The film appeals to the audience through its heavy creative influence and its effective story. I have accessed the media through my laptop, TV, and mobile phone in the last 24 hours, though I will usually use my laptop the most. I am looking forward to completing this course!
